1994 Bush Fires - Royal National Park - Sydney Australia
Fires started in the Royal National Park, to the south of Sydney, on the 3rd January 1994. It travelled from east of Heathcote on the 5th January to the sea 6th January resulting in evacuations from Bundeena and Maianbar.

Many fires were burning in the Sutherland Shire during this period. Woronora River, Menai/Bangor and Como Jannali were also affected on Friday 7th January 1994. Below is a report from the N.S.W. Rural Fire Service titled "A State Ablaze" which gives an account of events that happened.
